Business challenge
Every supplier sends packing lists in its own format. Warehouse staff type containers, materials, quantities and batch numbers into SAP line by line, often while the shipment is already at the dock.
Solution
The packing list is extracted as soon as it is received. The service recognises the container structure, maps supplier material numbers to SAP materials, and checks quantities against the open purchase order. The result is an inbound document in SAP that the warehouse confirms instead of creating.

What it is designed to achieve
- Inbound data is in SAP before the goods arrive
- Batch numbers are captured from the source document, not typed
- Discrepancies against the purchase order surface early
This is a solution blueprint. Measured results depend on each organization's process and are published only for delivered projects, with the customer's approval.
